Preserve Midway is dedicated to thoughtful growth and providing options for landowners to preserve the rural character, open space and heritage of Midway, Utah.
Our mission is to protect Midway’s historic rural heritage and preserve agricultural and open lands.
Preservation
We identify open space or historic parcels that are iconic to Midway and partner with conservation groups and Midway City to provide options for interested landowners so they can leave a legacy for future generations.
Education
We provide education to landowners, community members, and local governments about the benefit of open space and land conservation.
Community
We bring community partners together to celebrate and protect the spaces we love through collaborative efforts, including raising funds to purchase development rights and conservation easements.

OUR STORY.
Preserve Midway was founded in 2016 (formerly known as Pure Midway) as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in response to Midway’s rapid growth. At the time, there was huge demand for open space conservation but no organization focusing on it in Midway. Preserve Midway has been instrumental in changing the conversation in Midway from one of promoting and advocating for dense development to one about how to best preserve open spaces and the agricultural feel that makes Midway special.
